Go to "My Space" and then "Profile". Scroll down to see "Avatar / Picture URL". Click on edit. You may pick one of the supplied avatars or link to a picture on your website. Please make sure that the picture is no larger than 48 pixels in height. You should be able to preview your chosen picture. Be sure to click on update your profile.
