Alice, with whom I worked when my children were born--20 years ago, has asked for prayer for her daughter. LaToya was hospitalized on Thursday with what they thought were complications (she is on the list for a kidney transplant). At this point in time they do not know what is causing her most recent problems and have been running numerous tests. Please keep LaToya and Alice in your prayers this weekend and through the days ahead.

Just an update. After her second blood transfusion and the numerous tests, LaToya was able to return home on Monday. She's on complete bed rest.

Thanks, Lynne, as I learned this morning that LaToya has another infection, this time in relation to her dialysis tube, and is back in the hospital.

As of yesterday morning the news continued not to be good. The original infection never really went away. Please continue keeping LaToya, Alice and LaToya's brother in your prayers.
