I'm embarrassed to be asking this because it seems so selfish. I'm asking that anyone that has a chance to please pray for my GSD, Kasey. She has two cancerous tumors on her chest. She goes to the oncologist on Tues. for a CAT scan to find out if one of them is in the lymph nodes. The other one doesn't appear to be.

There is a possibility both tumors can be removed. If one is lymphoma, well, that's another story.

God's will is what it is and I cannot change that. So, I guess my prayer request is actually kind of complicated. Obviously, my deepest hope is that she can be treated. If not, I pray that she will not be in pain and we have the knowledge and stregth to do what's best for her. Also, I ask that you all pray for my ex, Jack, and myself. This dog is so very special to both of us. We are both so blown away by this.

Kasey will be 9 in April. She has had a happy and healthy life until this. This all started with routine blood work a little over a month ago when we found out her calcium levels were high. There has been a lot of testing going on over the past several weeks.

There is A LOT going on my life, too much to post about, and I'm not on the forums as often as I used to be. Any good thoughts and prayers sent our way would be greatly appreciated

I will most definitely be praying for Kasey as well as you and your ex. I pray that all gets better for you in your life, that God's will be done in all areas and in any event the result is not what you would have preferred, I pray that God offer you lots of peace, comfort, wisdom, and strength to get through. I will, stand in faith that Kasey's problem will be treatable and that God bless you with at least a while longer with her.

Yesterday we met the oncologist and he did more blood work. He had to check her calcium levels before he could put her under anestheia (sp?). Today is the CT scan and the biopsy.

She does not seem to have lymphoma. The Dr. said it was thymoma. I'm unclear if there's one or two masses. The regular vet said two, but the oncologist seemed to think it was one.

I think it will take a few days before I find out the results from today.

We don't have internet service yet at the new house. I have no idea what is happening with anyone else. I've been praying for the Shiloh "family" as a whole.

I will update you on Kasey when I get more facts.
