Please pray for my uncle... well, he's really my husband Wayne's uncle... but after being in this family for almost 32 years... he's my uncle too!

Tuesday uncle Bob was taken to the emergency room and it was discovered he has a rare arrhythmia called Bell Hausen, or something like that. It's a form of V-tach or ventricular tachycardia, which can be a fatal arrhythmia.

Tomorrow they're going to do a cardiac cath and try to find the area in his left ventricle which is misfiring, and they're going to ablate it... or burn it out so it can't misfire any further.

You guys are a powerful group when it comes to praying... I'd like to have you all in his corner, praying that all goes well.

Uncle Bob is Wayne's uncle by marriage.... but Wayne is so like him, you'd think Wayne was his son. Uncle Bob is the one that taught Wayne his work ethic, work hard, work well, be proud of your work.

When Wayne and I first got married, Wayne would go to work with uncle Bob, who would tell him... be here at 5 am or I'm leaving you.... if Wayne got there at 5:05, uncle Bob was gone.... which taught us never to be late! LOL

Uncle Bob and aunt Ann are our second set of parents.... and we go way back.... aunt Ann was my school bus driver when I was in high school and their daughter Melanie and I were best friends in school. Mel was the one that introduced Wayne and I. So, they've been special people to me for a very long time!

Uncle Bob did fine through his procedure.... unfortunately, they weren't able to ablate the area that is misfiring. They found he has areas that misfire in both his right and left ventricles (the two bottom chambers of the heart), and it would cause too much scar tissue to ablate them all. They couldn't pin point one specific area to treat.

So, they're putting him on medication that's supposed to control the arrhythmia.

We're hoping for the best!

Please keep him in your prayers, that the medication will control the arrhythmia.... this type can be very dangerous.

Uncle Bob went home today.

He's still not out of the woods. We have to make sure the medication works. He knows what he feels like when his heart goes into V-tach... and has to rest.

I just pray his medications do the trick!
